European Film Agency Directors

Rainbow Project Logo The European Film Agency Directors (EFADs) is an informal network of the heads of the national public film bodies in the European Union member states; Iceland, Norway and Switzerland also participate in the network. The EFADs come together to address issues of common concern and to formulate common positions in relation to audiovisual policy debates at the European level.

Rainbow is a snapshot of national and regional film agencies' contributions through film to the intercultural dialogue.

It is our intention to enhance the project, to include case studies of other exemplary initiatives through which film contributes to intercultural dialogue.

The preparation of Rainbow has been led by the UK Film Council on behalf of the EFADs.
