Barbara Broccoli

Barbara Broccoli grew up in the world of James Bond, travelling around the world with her family.

Producer Barbara Broccoli's first credited job on the Bond films was assistant director on Octopussy.  Later, Barbara became associate producer on The Living Daylights, then producer alongside her brother Michael G Wilson on GoldenEye.  Together they have continued as producers of the 007 franchise making it the longest running and successful franchise in film history.  Recent box office hits include Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

Her non-Bond producing credits include A Steady Rain starring Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman which broke box office records on Broadway.

For the last seven years Barbara Broccoli has been Chair of First Light, an organisation which provides funding and expertise to enable five to nineteen year olds throughout the UK to create digital short films. It receives £1.1 million of National Lottery funding per year from the UK Film Council.

Barbara was awarded the OBE in the New Year's Honours List 2008.
